All our weddings have the same thing at the centre – you, and we will discuss in detail what you expect and we can give lots of advice.  For example some young children require more patience than adults.
We try to capture your day as it happens in pictures and tell your story in a way that you can treasure forever.  It is more time consuming but after years of practice our brides tell us it is more satisfying to have traditional, posed photos to look back on and family and friends usually prefer these timeless photographs.

Instead of hit or miss photos we will take photographs of every guest as they arrive or later as family groups.  Be aware that many photographers offer photojournalistic style photos but they are often not to a high standard due to lighting conditions or because of the nature of the shot which is sometimes rushed.  The bride and especially the mother of the bride often come to dislike these photographs as time goes on.  Traditional photographs are definitely more intrusive on the day but are generally more satisfying over a long period of time.  We try to add a few casual shots, but always use posed timeless images.  We can include artistic and illustrative shots and they will also be posed and take time.  To create the perfect shot takes an effort from both the sitter and from the photographer.   We are perfectionists and are passionate in our work.  This is what we offer.

FOR YOUR PORTRAIT
Always we take time to discuss your requirements and whether a family group, an individual photo or a portfolio with a make over or hairdoe and clothes changes we promise a personal, professional and easy going manner.  To take a good photo the photographer requires a great deal of patience, skill and experience.  The character and a bit of emotion of the sitter should show in the finished photo.  We can conduct studio portraits in your home when we will arrive with all the backdrops, lights, reflectors that we need and will take about one hour to shoot, process, frame and print your portrait.  You may if you wish book studio time or choose a location shoot.  Let us know what you want. We will be delighted to oblige.
